Maxtop transformer oil, also known as insulating oil, is a natural hydrocarbon mixture from petroleum refining. It is a mineral insulating oil made by adding functional additives to the unused refined fraction base oil obtained by hydrogenation and fractionation. Its main components are straight-chain alkanes, cycloalkanes and other compounds. It is a water-white transparent liquid.
